Who we are
The Taxpayer Rights Advocate Office helps taxpayers who have been unsuccessful resolving their problems through Virginia Tax's regular processes. We aim to protect your rights and ensure your tax problems are handled promptly and fairly.
Virginia Tax Technology Modernization Project
On July 19, 2024, we released a formal Request for Proposal for a new, integrated tax administration platform and implementation services.
We signed the official contract on Thursday, July 10, 2025, which designated FAST Enterprises as the selected vendor and GenTax as the selected product.
